1. Service Description

TBTY ("Trade Better Than Yesterday") is a web-based trading review application available at tradebty.com. The service provides tools for structured post-session reviews, conditional rule tracking, playbook management, and morning preparation workflows.

TBTY is an educational review framework. It does not provide financial advice, trade signals, trade alerts, or investment recommendations. TBTY does not tell you what to trade, when to trade, or how to allocate capital.

2. User Responsibilities

By using TBTY, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information: You will provide a valid email address and accurate account information when signing up.
  • Maintain account security: You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for all activity under it.
  • Use the service lawfully: You will not use TBTY for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Accept trading risk: You acknowledge that trading futures, equities, options, forex, and other financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. TBTY does not mitigate, reduce, or eliminate trading risk.

3. Intellectual Property

The TBTY application, its design, code, and written content (including the Quick Start Guide, blog posts, and documentation) are the intellectual property of TBTY. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the service or its content without written permission.

The TBTY review methodology (conditional rules, playbook lifecycle, state gate, plan compliance) is described in publicly available materials. You are free to apply the methodology manually or in your own workflows.

4. Limitation of Liability

TBTY is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  • No liability for trading losses: TBTY is not responsible for any financial losses, missed opportunities, or adverse trading outcomes. You make your own trading decisions. TBTY is a review tool, not a trading advisor.
  • No guaranteed outcomes: Using TBTY does not guarantee improved trading performance, profitability, or any specific result.
  • Service availability: We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the service.

5. Data Ownership

You own your data. Trading reviews, conditional rules, playbook entries, prep notes, and all content you create within TBTY remain your intellectual property.

We do not sell, share, or use your trading data for any purpose other than providing the TBTY service to you. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time through the feedback form in your account settings.

6. Subscription & Billing

  • Free tier: Includes 7 reviews and 3 playbook rules. No credit card required.
  • Paid subscriptions: Billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Your payment information is handled securely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
  • Founding member pricing: Founding members lock in their subscription rate for as long as they maintain an active subscription. This rate does not increase.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until that date.
  • Refunds: Refunds are not guaranteed but reasonable requests are honored. Submit a request through the feedback form in your account settings within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

TBTY offers a voice-first review mode that uses AI services to assist with data entry:

  • Transcription: Voice recordings are transcribed using Deepgram speech-to-text technology.
  • Structured extraction: Transcript text is processed by Anthropic Claude to extract trades, rules, emotions, and takeaways into structured review fields.
  • Accuracy: AI-assisted extraction is provided as a convenience and may contain inaccuracies, misinterpretations, or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-extracted content before saving your review.

AI extraction provides a head start, not a finished review. The final content is your responsibility.

8. Modification of Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
